Wall Street closes slightly positive as investors weight Ukraine and Israel

FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US stocks market closed with small gains on Wednesday as investors considered crisis in Ukraine and Israel as well as digested failed fusions and earnings report in Wall Street.

The Dow Jones advanced 13.87 points or 0.08% to finish at 16,443.34; the S&P 500 added 0.03 points to closed at 1,920.24; while the Nasdaq Composite added 2.22 points or 0.05% to wrap up the session at 4,355.05.

EUR is weak, touching fresh 8 month lows - Scotiabank

Camilla Sutton, CFA, CMT, Chief FX Strategist at Scotiabank explained that the EUR is weak, having fallen to a fresh 8‐month low in the early European session.
