Forex: NZD/USD falls to session lows at 0.8558/62

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The NZD/USD fell off the 0.8605 level during US trading Friday, plummeting nearly 40 pips below the 0.8600 level in recent moments. At the time of writing the pair has amplified its losses to trade at 0.85658/62, down -0.81%.

After falling below the 0.8579 support, Mataf.net technical analyst team identifies supports for the NZD/USD at 0.8528, onto 0.8479. Conversely, a break above 0.8679 will initiate resistive measures at 0.8728 and 0.8779.

Earlier today in the United States, Retail Sales (MoM) were reported at -0.4%, compared to projected figures calling for no change. More recently, the Reuters/Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index (Apr) came in at 72.3, against an estimated 78.5.
