Bloomberg is out with the latest headline, citing that the US is said to have asked the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to raise the oil output by 1 million barrels per day (bpd).

No further details mentioned on the same, but the headline seems to have knocked-off both crude benchmarks slightly lower.
