Germany: Annual Retail Sales climb 0.9% in January

FXStreet (Barcelona) - Statistisches Bundesamt Deutschland informed on Friday that year-over-year German Retail Sales grew 0.9% in January, compared with the 1.5% drop in December and against forecasts of falling 1.2%.

On a monthly basis German Retail Sales rose 2.5%, after declining 2.1% and above expectations of rising 1%.

Germany Retail Sales (MoM) increase to 2.5% in January. (YoY) up 0.9%.

On a monthly basis UK Nationwide Housing Prices increased 0.6% in February, down from the 0.8% rise the previous month, Nationwide revealed on Friday. This result is in line with projections.
