National Front: victims of a collusion

FXStreet (Guatemala) - Exit polls seem pretty conclusive in France this weekend. Early results suggest the National Front party has been beaten into third place, despite leading in six of 13 regions in the first round of votes a week ago.

The party has not been able to build on its remarkable triumphs of last week in the first round as the biggest party and the hopes to build to take 2, 3 or even 4 regions of France's 13 regions are shattered.

There has been a barrage effect and tactics where the socialists party stood down and the mainstream left and right have been coming together to keep them out for a disappointing night for the France's far-right National Front (FN) who has failed to win a single region in the second round of elections, as these exit polls indicated.
