USD/CHF rises above 1.0100

FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/CHF pulled back earlier and after finding support at 1.0035 bounced back to the upside. The pair printed a fresh 8-week high at 1.0107 and extended daily gains to more than a hundred pips.

The US dollar gained momentum during the American session and rebonded to the upside across the board as stocks in Wall Street tuned to the downside. The Dow Jones failed to hold to gains and it was losing 0.08% and the Nasdaq was down 0.18%.

Currently USD/CHF trades around 1.0100, up 1.02% for the day. Despite falling against the US dollar, the Swiss franc is rising versus the euro. EUR/CHF fell below 1.0630 to trade at the lowest since February 26.
