Commodities Brief – Precious metals held in narrow consolidation, crude bearishness prevails

Precious metals have rallied somewhat, managing to hold onto their present levels despite volatile trading that has gripped commodities since the beginning of the week.

The EUR/USD foreign exchange was rebuffed by the 1.3336 level (session high), only to erase its gains and retreat into negative territory Wednesday.
